Current Activities

I teach General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry for all majors at Texas A&M Higher Education Center at McAllen. The class introduces fundamental chemistry knowledge to prepare first-year students and sophomores ready for upper-level science courses.

I am excited to facilitate workshops to help students build learning skills and connect students to campus resources that will increase their academic success and social engagement.

I am interested in mentoring undergraduate research, and our research focuses on applying porous materials in the environmental field. I would love to encourage more underrepresented students to pursue a STEM degree.
