Areas of Interest
  • Chemical Education Research
  • Large-Scale Inclusive Teaching Practices

Current Activities

My research interests in chemical education are broad and include (1) structural factors (e.g., types of assessments, grading structure, level of active-learning implemented, etc.) that impact students’ social belonging in very-large chemistry courses, (2) assessment of students’ conceptual understanding of general chemistry topics, and (3) factors that influence undergraduate students’ interest and motivation to pursue studies in chemistry.
