Spectroscopy and Application of Nanomaterials
The research interest of Son's group is experimental investigation of the photophysical, optical, electronic and structural properties of various inorganic and organic nanostructures using spectroscopic and microscopic tools in combination with computational approaches. We are also interested in applying the fundamental understanding of interesting phenomena found in these materials in photonics and photocatalysis.
Research in Son's group is highly interdisciplinary with active collaboration with US and international groups in science and engineering disciplines. Those who have interests in physical, analytical, and materials chemistry of nanomaterials are welcome.
