Welcome to the First Year Program CHEMISTRY STOCKROOM

Russell Dove manages the First Year Chemistry Program laboratory stockroom. Russell also supervises the chemical demonstrations (explosions, etc.) for Freshman Lectures and Laboratories. In addition, his talents are put to use in the Chemistry Road Show (coming to a school near you!) Last, but not least, audio/visual materials for Heldenfels Hall are handled under his direction. He can also be thanked for any puns on this page.

Melvin Williams is the assistant manager of the stockroom. He plays a major role in laboratory preparations, details, and chemical inventory. Melvin is also an active leader in the Bryan community, being a pastor of the Endtime Evangelistic Pentecostal Church.

Located on the fourth floor, room 402, of the Heldenfels Building, the First Year Chemistry Program Stockroom was created to serve the First Year Program (FYP) Chemistry Laboratories. The 12 FYP Chemistry Laboratories on the fourth floor of Heldenfels make up the Lab component of the First Year Chemistry Program (also called FYP Chemistry), which is directed by Dr. Larry Peck. The other component of FYP Chemistry is Lecture.

Each semester the stockroom hires Student Workers. Come by Heldenfels room 413 for an application.
