Adam Kabza was born in Dunkirk, New York. He graduated as a double major in mathematics and chemistry, and completed the pre-medical track from Tulane University in 2014. While studying at Tulane University he conducted research with Professor Atul Dixit. Adam was accepted to Texas A&M University in the spring of 2015 at 19 years old, and in the fall of 2015 joined Dr. Sczepanski’s lab. He now works on developing cross-chiral L-RNA biosensors intended to detect post-transcriptional modifications of mRNAs to better understand RNA epigenetics.
