Chem 101 is a difficult class, but Dr K makes it as painless as possible. She gives crazy homework assignments and long drawn out internet assignments, but her tests are fair. She's very friendly and willing to help at any time!"

Dr. K is the best prof I've had here at A&M. She REALLY wants to be fair and REALLY wants her students to learn. Her curve is fair, her tests are fair... she's just great. Don't settle for any other prof at A&M for Chem 101.... enjoy!"

I don't know what the hell ya'll are thinkin. If you wanna take a class that consists of hours upon hours of busy work, and very difficult exams, then your best choice is right here. Dr. K is an excellent teacher and really cares about her students, she'll bend over backwards to help anyone. However, the work load is just insane, especially for a class that is just intended to fulfill core-curriculum requirements."

Great prof! Great at breaking things down so easy to understand. Also does a lot of examples in class. She takes breaks in the middle of class to let you ask questions or get up and walk around to keep you attention. Great at answering questions and working with you. Take her at all costs if you can."

KK is a great prof. I took her for 101 and 102 and made A's in both. The class is a lot of work...some of it even busy work. if you put some time and effort into it, you will succeed in the class. the tests are not bad (old ones on the web, along with her notes) She is the one to take..."

Dr K is an EXCELLENT professor. She really wants her students to learn the material. I took her for 101 and 102 and I got a B each semester. The tests are 60%MC and 40%FR and she's all about the partial credit. There are 13 little pop quizes given through out the semester but she only keeps the best 10. The hmwk she assigns is extremely tedious but it helps. I totally recommend this professor to anyone who needs to take 101 or 102."

Every other review couldn't be closer to the truth. She is very open to help everyone. She doesn't curve much, but as long as you do all the little assignments she gives and go to class, an A is very possible. I would recommend her to anyone."

"
I highly reccommend Dr.Kennicutt! She is a great prof and her lectures are very interesting: funny, easy to follow, and pretty fair. (Her notes are on the internet) Her (4) tests are rather tricky though, multiple choice and free response. She also assigns ALOT of busy work: online questions, study questions out of the book, and writing essays which take up alot of time. You HAVE to study for her tests (A+ helps) and I would not take this course if you don't plan on putting effort in. You WILL learn actually from this class, though!!"

Dr. Kennicutt is a great professor. The class is a lot of work but if you do all the work, you should do really well in this class. There are 3 sets of questions but all the questions are fully explained in the solutions manual that was written by her. She gives three exams and a final which are similar to old tests that she puts on the internet. All of her notes are also on the internet so that u can print them off to better listen in clas. I reccomend this class to anyone wanting to get knowledge out of this class, not just to get through."

"
When I had. Dr. Kennicutt a few semesters ago she used the overhead mainly, and lectured over her notes. She did a lot of handwritten work with examples.
I think we had three midterms with one final exam. They were all at their designated times. She provided us homework to do out of the textbook, and it was VERY HELPFUL. She wrote the answerbook for the homework, so of course she was great to go to for questions.
I think she is very friendly and extremely intelligent. I would suggest taking her section to anyone who will be taking CHEM 101 or 102.
Her labs are more in depth and the TA that I had was very well prepared for every recitation/lab. Also I thought everything to be fairly graded."
