Mission Statement

The goal of Information Technology in the Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University is to promote and enable educational and research improvement through the use of computers, networks, and other information technologies. This includes High Performance Computers, powerful servers, and more than 800 workstations, personal computers and mobile devices connected by a state of the art wired and wireless network. We also provide access to the latest molecular modeling software, distance learning technologies, and information on chemistry courses. Information Technology also works to realize the benefits of paperless business transactions.
