Postdoctoral Associates

	Vasudha Sharma received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, in 2006. Born and raised in India, she moved to the United States in 2000 for her graduate career at Michigan State. She joined the Watanabe Lab in March 2006. She is interested in identification and characterization of DNA-Azinomycin B adducts in cellular models and their effects on signal transduction of anti-apoptotic proteins. She is also working on the biosynthetic mechanism of Azinomycin B through an isotopic labeled assay. In her spare time, she likes to visit with family and friends, travel, take pictures and paint.
