Yanjun Zhu

 

Yanjun Zhu obtained her B.S. and M.S. degrees at Soochow University in China before joining the Ph.D. program at Brandeis.  Her research at Soochow touched on several topics such as the studies of coordination polymers and resulted in several publications with Yanjun as a co-author.  Yanjun joined our group at Brandeis in the Fall of 2006. In January of 2009, she moved to Texas A&M with the group. At TAMU, Yanjun investigated C-H and C-heteroatom oxidative addition chemistry occurring at iridium centers as well as catalytic applications of cationic late metal complexes. She received her Ph.D. in December 2011, and left for a position as Process Scientist at Momentive in Tarrytown, NY in January of 2012.
