Former Ozerov Group Members

Slava Papkov

Vyacheslav (Slava) Papkov undertook his undergraduate training at the Moscow State University in Russia, doing research in the division of enzymology.  He graduated with a Master’s degree in the spring of 2002.  He then joined the Department of Chemistry at Brandeis and the Ozerov group the following fall.  Slava was one of the two original Ozerov group members (together with Wei Weng).  Slava worked on the calixarene amination project before getting involved in the PNP chemistry of Rh and the studies of N-C and N-H oxidative addition.  He graduated with an M.S. degree in chemistry in 2004 and started working for US Genomics.
