Melissa Schumacher

Melissa Schumacher joined our group as the summer 2012 REU participant. She originally hails from Scenic Hills, a town slightly south of Pittsburgh, PA, and will be graduating in 2013 from Washington & Jefferson College. While here, she worked on a new type of linked tridentate pincer ligand and its corresponding nickel and palladium complexes for the investigation of catalytic applications.
