Former Ozerov Group Members
Lauren Gregor
Lauren Gregor (Brandeis Class of 2006), a native of Holliston, Mass., joined the group in the summer of 2005. Her research focused on the stoichiometric and catalytic reactions occurring at PNP-supported late transition metal Lewis acids. Lauren was the star striker and captain of the Brandeis soccer team, but amazingly managed to combine that with a high volume of research work. She graduated with a B.S. with high honors in May of 2006. Following graduation, she embarked on a student teaching project in order to gain a high school teaching certificate. In the Spring of 2007 she spent two more months in the Ozerov group to bring her former project to publication. Lauren was accepted into a number of excellent graduate programs and elected to enroll in the Ph.D. program at Boston University in the Fall of 2007.
