John Dekarske

 

John is currently attending Hampden-Sydney College and plans to graduate with a degree in Chemistry in 2014. He graduated from Southampton Academy in Courtland, Virginia in 2010. He is a member of Alpha Chi Sigma, Chi Beta Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa. In the summer of 2012, he studied at St. Anne’s College of Oxford University in which he learned about Elizabethan English and History. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and racquetball. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College, he plans to attend graduate school. During the summer of 2013, he worked with the Ozerov group at Texas A&M University in their Chemistry REU program funded by the National Science Foundation.
