Former Ozerov Group Members

Jia Zhou

Jia Zhou joined the Ozerov Group in 2011, coming from Wayne State University where he obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. H. B. Schlegel. His Ph.D. research focused on applying computational methods to broad areas of chemistry, varying from molecular dynamics of small organic molecules to actinide chemistry, and even to QM/MM study of biochemical systems. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Fudan University, respectively. In the Ozerov group, he worked on understanding the relationship between ligand and reaction activity from a theoretical chemist’s point of view. In September 2012, Jia left the Ozerov group to work for Dr. Hall's group at TAMU.
