Former Ozerov Group Members

Dave Herbert

 

Dave joined the Ozerov Group from the University of Bristol, where he obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Ian Manners in the area of organometallic polymer chemistry. Dave originally hails from North York, Canada, and previously attended the University of King's College/Dalhousie University where he worked with Prof. Neil Burford in main-group coordination chemistry. So, born in the cold North, and educated in the wet West Country, Dave (eventually) made his way to the hot state of Texas... by car. He enjoyed working on the synthesis and catalytic applications of bimolecular pincer catalysts while with the Ozerov group. In September 2011, he left for a postdoctoral position under Dr. Theo Agapie at Caltech.
