Former Ozerov Group Members
Deborha Bacciu
Deborha Bacciu was born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia. She attended the University of Sassari, receiving an undergraduate degree in chemistry in 2003. While at Sassari, Deborha investigated the chemistry of gold(III) complexes under the tutelage of Profs. Minghetti and Cinellu. Her success at Sassari earned her a graduate fellowship for study at the University of Cardiff in Wales. At Cardiff, Deborha worked in the group of Prof. Kingsley Cavell investigating abnormally bound carbenes in the context of group 10 metal chemistry. Deborha joined the Ozerov group in February 2007 and explored catalytic applications of novel pincer complexes.
