Former Ozerov Group Members
Christina M. Brammell
Chrissy Brammell (neƩ Hamill) received her B.S. degree in Chemistry at Westminster College in Pennsylvania. The summer of 2010, she joined the group in pursuit of her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. Before that, she spent the summer of 2008 in the Ozerov group as a participant in the Brandeis NSF-REU program. At the end of the program, Chrissy presented a poster with her results at the ACS meeting in Philadelphia. She came back to the group for the summer of 2009; but this time at Texas A&M, where her project targeted the synthesis of hafnium alkylidene complexes. Exposure to exotic foods and non-PA-like climes are her favorite things to do outside of research in the glovebox! In August 2012, Chrissy received her M.S., and left for a chemistry teaching position at Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas.
