My main research projects are:
(1) to prepare and characterize cyanide-bridged complexes that incorporate 3d-3d, 3d-4d, 3d-4f and 4d-4f transition metal ions with tridentate and bidentate ligands such as 2,4,6-tri (2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tptz) and 1,10-phenantroline (phen).
(2) The design and characterization of multifunctional materials, specifically binary compounds of metal ions with TCNQ and TCNQ derivatives
