The Dunbar Research Group

Dirhodium compounds exhibit very promising antitumor properties both in the ground state and in a photochemically activated state. My research involves the study of the interactions of various paddlewheel-type dirhodium complexes with DNA and other biological molecules primarily by 1D and 2D NMR and other spectroscopic techniques. I am also investigating aromatic molecules that exhibit non-covalent contacts such as anion-π interactions.
