June 2013: We would like to welcome new group members: REU students Elisa James and Rachael Cox.

May 2013: James and Nick will be presenting their work at the 7th International Conference on Iron-Sulfur Cluster Biogenesis and Regulation. Nick was selected to give a talk (see picture).

Graduating student
April 2013: Congrations to Melissa who successfully defended her Master's thesis. Whoop Melissa!

Funding
February 2011: Our NIH applications "Structure and mechanism of the human Fe-S cluster assembly complex" scored in the first percentile with a priority score of 11. Funding will likely start in the summer of 2011.
Graduating student
January 2011: Congratulations to Chi-Lin who successfully defended his dissertation. Dr. Tsai will start a post-doc at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory later in the spring.
Funding
December 2010: Our American Heart Association grant "Deciphering normal and aberrant function for clinical variants associated with Fe-S assembly and heart disease" scored a 2.78% and will be funded in January 2011.
