The Association of Former Students created the Distinguished Achievement Award in 1955 for the purpose of appropriately recognizing outstanding professional achievement by Texas A&M faculty and staff. For nearly 50 years this award has represented the most coveted recognition on our campus.
Dr. David H. Russell will receive a University-Level Distinguished Achievement Award for Research during the Spring Awards Ceremony on May 6, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. in Rudder Theater. Immediately following the ceremony, The Association of Former Students will host a reception in the Exhibit Hall.
