
Professor Scott has been with Texas A&M for over 25 years and has made tremendous scientific contributions to the University and also the community of chemistry. In recent years he has been awarded the following major national and international awards:

Distinguished Scientist of Texas of the Year (2002)

The Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University announces with great pleasure that on April 2, 2004, a symposium entitled "Recent Advances in Bioorganic Chemistry" will be held in honor of A.
