Fourth Year and Beyond Students


The fourth and fifth year of study are concerned with completion of the research project. Students will be required to submit a brief report to their committee at the end of each year beyond their third year. Students are still expected to attend seminars that interest them. Once the research project is concluded, the student will write a dissertation or a thesis, schedule a final oral defense and give a general departmental seminar. The student must also formally apply for the degree.
