Our 18th Annual Chemistry Open House and Science Exploratorium will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 beginning at 9:45am in the foyer of the old part of the main Chemistry Building by the 3 round brick fountains, called the H2O fountains. (This is not the Heldenfels building). Here is another CAMPUS MAP showing parking, our building and the Sbisa Dining Hall. An All-You-Can-Eat Lunch Buffet is available at Sbisa Dining Hall in case you get hungry and want to eat with Aggies! We will have $1 off discount coupons for you at the Welcome Table.

Start your adventures by checking in at the Welcome Table and getting your bag of chemistry goodies.
Three Chemistry Road Shows, featuring weird polymers, super cold materials and other exciting demonstrations will be in Room 100 of the main Chemistry building at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm.
Door prizes will be given out at all three shows.

Other activities at Chemistry Open House and Science Exploration Gallery will be underway between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
They will include lots of hands-on and computer activities, guided lab tours, and demonstrations.
Departments involved are Chemistry (of course), Physics,and other sciences.

The Southwest Regional National Science Foundation Grades K-12 Conference, sponsored by the Partnership of Environmental Education and Rural Health, is being held on campuse at the same time as our Chemistry Open House and Science Exploration Gallery. If you have time, pay them a visit. The map and schedule of demos and talks are on their website.
