Choose your calculator:
TI-81
- Make sure all the graphed functions are cleared or unselected.
- Press STAT (the 2nd of the MATRX button), select the DATA menu, and select the EDIT menu item.
- Enter the data points.
- Press RANGE and enter appropriate ranges for the graph window so that the data will fill the screen.
- Press STAT, select the DRAW menu, and select the xyLine menu item. Press ENTER.
TI-82
- Make sure all the graphed functions are cleared or unselected.
- Press STAT, select the EDIT menu, and select the Edit... menu item.
- Enter x-axis data into L1, and y-axis data into L2.
- Press STAT PLOT (the 2nd of the y= button), and select Plot 1.
- Turn on Plot 1, select the xyLine plot type (the second icon), set Xlist=L1, and set Ylist=L2.
- Press WINDOW and enter appropriate ranges for the graph window so that the data will fill the screen.
- Press GRAPH.
TI-83
- Make sure all the graphed functions are cleared or unselected.
- Press STAT, select the EDIT menu, and select the Edit... menu item.
- Enter x-axis data into L1, and y-axis data into L2.
- Press STAT PLOT (the 2nd of the y= button) and select Plot 1.
- Turn on Plot 1, select the xyLine plot type (in the middle of the top row graph icons), set Xlist=L1, and set Ylist=L2.
- Press WINDOW and enter appropriate ranges for the graph window so that the data will fill up the screen.
- Press GRAPH.
TI-85
- Make sure all the graphed functions are cleared or unselected.
- Press STAT and select EDIT.
- Enter appropriate names for the xlist and ylist.
- Enter the data points.
- Press GRAPH, select RANGE, and enter appropriate ranges for the graph window so that the data will fill the screen.
- Press STAT, select DRAW, and select xyLINE.
TI-86
- Make sure all the graphed functions are cleared or unselected.
- Press STAT (the 2nd of the + key) and select EDIT.
- Enter the data into xStat and yStat.
- Press STAT, select PLOT, and select plot1.
- Turn on plot 1, set type=xyLINE, set XList=xStat, and set YList=yStat.
- Press Graph, select WIND, and enter appropriate ranges for the graph window so that the data will fill the screen.
- Select GRAPH.
