CBI Symposium

The CBI currently sponsors a symposium annually at the end of the summer, immediately after the entering CBI students arrive. Starting this year, there will be a second conference in early January just prior to the beginning of the spring semester. The Fall symposium serves to welcome new trainees and introduce them to the research activity available in the program. Symposia will last ~4 hrs, and take place at the College Station Conference Center or the Memorial Student Center. All CBI trainers and trainees are expected to attend. The venue will include 4-6 CBI trainees presenting for 30 minutes each about their research. Other trainees will present posters on their research. Time will be allotted for poster discussions and social interactions. Beverages and snacks will be provided. To see pictures from this Fall's Symposium, click here.
