2011

Chan Park and Kylee Stouder received the CRC Outstanding First Year Chemistry Course Awards.

Jennifer Erchinger received the Outstanding Analytical Chemistry Award.

Merid Haile was the winner of the Outstanding Inorganic Chemistry Award.

Khanh Pham received the Outstanding Organic Chemistry Award.

Benjamin Seufferlein was the winner of the ACS Leadership Award.

Rachel Chupik received the Hypercube Scholar Award.

The Jaan Laane Academic Achievement Awards were presented to Alexander Mijalis and David Vinther.

Nicole Reusser and Ivey Royall were the winners of the Merck Index Award.

Kevin Arendt received the Hugh McLean, Jr. Award.

And last, but certainly not least,

Merid Haile received the Outstanding Chemistry Undergraduate Student Award.

The Department of Chemistry awarded over $69,000 in scholarships to undergraduate chemistry majors for the 2011-12 academic year. These scholarships were endowed by the department's many generous donors.
